He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel "Dan" Stephens and Dorothy "Dot" Bedwell Stephens; his wife Alma "Ellen" Gazaway Stephens; and his brother Donald Bedwell. He is survived by: his children, Harley Stephens of Chatsworth, GA, Johnny Bedwell (D. J. Holcomb) of Resaca, GA and Irene; his son-in-law Tommy Holland of Dalton, GA; his brother Glen Alderman of Chatsworth, GA; his grandchildren, Joseph and Whitney Holland; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Luke and Corbin; and his pet Blackie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
