He is survived by: his wife Rosie Marie Hooker Reynolds; his daughters, Sherry (Tim Durham), Marie Reynolds of Alabama and Becky Smith of Lafayette, Georgia; and his sister Mary Smith of Trion, Georgia. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
