He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannine Sosbee Dooley; and his parents, Calvin Lester and Edna Earl Dooley. He is survived by: his sisters, Jo Dooley Eksted (John) and Leslie Dooley Ballew (Willard); his nephew Willard Lee Ballew, Jr. (Kendra); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kenlee, Brogen and Buc; his niece Monda Ballew Tackett (Kevin); his great-niece Bonny Tackett Johnson (Hunter); and his great-nephews, Allen Lee Tackett (Morgan) and Zach Tackett (Rachel).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Safari Project Attn.: Brady Johnson 2903 Brown's Bridge Road Parrish, Alabama 35580.
