“Charlotte's passing touches me deeply. She and my mom Eloise Jones were neighbors in Detroit back in the 50's. Charlotte and my Eloise kept in touch throughout the years. Our families had all moved away from Michigan. My family in Illinois & mom still kept in touch with Charlotte. Later I was mom's caregiver and my mom, Eloise came to live with me in San Diego, CA. Mom would call Charlotte and they would would talk to encourage each other with the "old days". Until last year covid came.”
