He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Mason Bryant and Josie "Smith" Bryant; his son Jeffrey Bryant; his son-in-law Floyd Lawler Jr.; and his siblings, Elbert Bryant, Albert Bryant, Milton Bryant, Mildred Bryant, JoAnn Barrett, Frances Fowler, Omagene Smyth and Lois Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bryant of Chatsworth; his children, Joe David Bryant, Diane (Johnny Miller), Belinda Lawler (Rufus Patterson) and Nellie Bryant of Chatsworth; and his grandchildren, Brandy, Harvey Sandoval, Andrew, Brittany Bryant, Matthew Lawler, Jonathan Lawler, Ashley, Jonathan Evans and Shanna Bryant. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews.
