She is survived by: her children, Donna Asbell, James Asbell (Jennifer) and Charles Asbell, Jr.; her grandson Jacob Asbell; her sister Shelba Mashburn (Hamby); her niece Carol Sibley (Chris); and her nephews, Fred Mashburn (Cindy) and Bo Hamby.
