She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Mollie; her husband Cecil Lester; her stepfather Leroy Richardson; her grandparents, A. V., Susie Turkett and Ricky Sanders; her friends, Cecil, Margie and Billy Holbrooks; her children, Donya Lester and Barry Lester; her adoptive daughter Wanda Brannan of Cedartown; her grandchildren, Jade Lester of Atlanta and Caleb Lester of Cedartown; her great grandchild Addison Mae Lester; her mother Kailey Allmon of Cedartown; and also, Vestal (Red) and Stacy Gilley.
In the late 1970's she and Cecil joined Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Rockmart, and until the pandemic and a number of debilitating falls limited her ability to attend, she was an active member.
