It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Joan Matthews of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Brockway, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Madalena and Rose Principe Madalena; her husband Robert Martin Matthews; and her brothers, John Madalena and Francis Madalena.
She is survived by: her daughter Rosann; her son-in-law Lloyd Kaylor of Villa Rica; her son Bill; her daughter-in-law Laura Anne Matthews of Aiken; her grandson Mitchell Matthews; and her siblings, Angelia Madalena and Eugene Madalena. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
