He is survived by: his wife Anne Barge Scudder; his children, Rebecca Anne Scudder, Lynne Scudder Williamson (Robert), Alice Scudder Bonner, Richard "Bud" Adams Scudder, Jr. (Vicki) and John Robert Scudder; and his siblings, Sally Scudder Hirsch, William "Billy" Scudder (Carol), Allen Scudder (Michal Ann) and Jo Worthington Brock. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
