It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Heard of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Spurgeon Heard and Shirley Jean Lee Heard; and his nephew Taylor James Butler. He is survived by: his sisters, Portia Heard of Carrollton, Georgia, Carla (Brant McCanless), Beth Heard of Newnan, Olivia (Jamey Ploof) and Jennifer (Thomas Braziel); and his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Chiodo, James Bragg, Elaina Cohen, Christopher Cohen, Alexander McCanless, Dillon McCanless, Courtney Anderson, Cody Patterson, Carlysel Turner, Cayden Smith, McCabe Duncan, Morgan Duncan, Brett Butler, Madison Patel and Brock Boyett. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
