She is survived by: her husband William James Gilchrist; her daughter Peggy Nunn (John); her grandchildren, Catherine A. Lesesne (Brandi) and William James Gilchrist, III (Alex); her great grandchildren, Bennett, Ruby, Emerson and Liam; and her siblings, Leona Lynch, Grady Pate, Jack Pate, Marsha Simpson and Margaret Berry.
