It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Sluder Epperson of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hurt Sluder and Gertrude Agnes Fuss Sluder; and her husband Fred Caston Epperson. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Layton of Carrollton, Brenda Kay Fortune of Carrollton and Jack Allen Epperson of Franklin; and her siblings, Debra Pair and Richard Sluder. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
