She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hubert Webb and Essie Mae Stapler Webb; her husband James Howard Pierce; her brother Clarence Webb; and her grandchildren, Infant Berna, Brandon Jackson and Jeremy Bearden.

She is survived by: her children, Charlotte (Frank Tinker), Sharon (Howard Jackson) and Dewaine; her daughter-in-law Jada Pierce of Bowdon, Georgia; and her brother David Webb of Woodland, Alabama. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
