It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jordan of Canon, Georgia, born in Carnesville, Georgia, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Jordan and Lois Allen Jordan; her grandson Bo Porterfield Jr.; and her brother Walter Jordan. She is survived by: her grandson Michael Porterfield; her great great grandchild Paul Padgett; her siblings, James William Jordan, Alan Jordan and Marshaline Jordan; her daughters, Ruby Nell (Mitchell Porterfield), Lavonia and Carolyn (Greg Askea); her grandchildren, Cory Porterfield and Crystal Yachich; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Hill, Peyton, Casey Porterfield, Hope, Michael Turner, Erica and Steven Padgett; her great great grandchildren, Michael Turner Jr., Alice Porterfield and Ryan Turner; and her siblings, Patricia Dutton of Anderson, SC, Joyce Myers, David Jordan and Bud Jordan of Canon, GA..
