He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ruth Askea; his brother Terry Askea; his grandson Paul Padgett; his father-in-law William Robinson; his wife Carolyn Robinson Askea; his father Harold O. Askea, Jr.; his siblings, Anthony Harrold Askea of Florida, Don Allen Askea of Douglasville, Kim Shiela Cox of Douglasville, Chris Timothy Askea of Florida, Chuck Kenneth Askea of Alabama and Britt Askea of Braselton; his mother-in-law Mary Jordan; his sister-in-law Ruby Nell Porterfield; and his grandchildren, Erica Padgett (Steven) of Royston, Hope Turner (Michael) of Hartwell, Michael "Peanut" Turner, Jr. and Ryan Turner.
