He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Hall Cox; his son Larry Cox; and his brother J. E. Cox. He is survived by: his son Lamar Cox (Tina) of Butler; his grandchildren, Chris Cox (Jessica), Mindy Hobbs (John), Melanie Allen (Drew) and Wesley Cox; his great grandchildren, Ava Taylor, Peyton Christopher Cox, Logan, Kaylin, Lainey Hobbs and Hattie James Allen; and his sister-in-law Gloria Cox of Macon.
