She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Louise Grant, Wilma Gardner, Beverly Turner, Rose Coleman (Robert), William Carter, Sr. (Donna), Solomon Carter, Jeanette Simmons (Tommy) and Cynthia Rogers (Julius); her granddaughter Margaret Murphy; her siblings, Walter Wade (Peggy), Mae Williamson, Darlene Brown and Etta Brown; and her goddaughter Veronica Jenkins.
