It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Delbert Wilkes of Brunswick, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Georgia, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Wilkes and Mary Lizzie Elkins Wilkes; and his brothers, Leon Wilkes, Russell Wilkes, Ruel Wilkes and Erroll Wilkes.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cook Wilkes; his children, Rick Wilkes (Nancy), Del Wilkes, Geri Wilkes (Debbie) and Laurie Wilkes Frank (JC); his grandchildren, Sean Wilkes, Maggie Wilkes Conrad (Jason), Joey Harrison (Tavia) and Ashley Leguollon; his great grandchildren, Logan Wilkes, Chris Conrad, Dylan Conrad, Cole Conrad, Kylie Harrison, Boston Harrison and Sophie Leguollon; his grandson Cal; and also Benton (Pat).
We ask that all those who attend the Visitation and/or the service follow all Covid-19 recommendations.
