He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Taft Ricketson and Fannie Lott Ricketson; his son Stevie Ricketson; and his siblings, Vilas Ricketson, R. T. Ricketson, J. M. Ricketson, Ivella Smith Gillum, Mary Alice Ricketson, Juanita Foskey, Juanelle McCallum, Ruby Johnson and Dorothy Griffin Thurman.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Kight Ricketson of Broxton, GA; his sons, Donnie Ricketson (Gerri) of Snipesville, GA, Jimmy Ricketson (Twanda) of Douglas, GA and Keith Ricketson (Victoria) of Walterboro, SC; his daughter-in-law Sue Ricketson Giles; and his siblings, Charles Ricketson (Dorothy) of Denton, GA and Arletha Ricketson Tate of Denton, GA. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
