He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Floyce Lott Day; and his siblings, Wayne Day and Joyce Gay. He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Day of Broxton, GA; his children, Stephanie Lawrence (James) of Broxton, GA and Steven Day (Misty) of Ludowici, GA; his siblings, Glenda Ann Johnson (James) of Hazlehurst, GA, Charles Day (Judy) of Apopka, FL, Johnny Day (Marla Sue) of Ambrose, GA, Jerome Day of Broxton, GA, Ronnie Day (Selena) of Wray, GA and Jimmy Day (Brenda) of Wray, GA; his sister-in-law Sandra Day Spivey of Wray, GA; and his grandchildren, Taylor Jade Day, Walter Andrew Day, Railynn Drew Day, Matthew James Lawrence, William Edward Lawrence and Morgan JoAnna Day. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
