He was predeceased by: his parents, William Downing and Betty Bond Downing. He is survived by: his daughters, Shawnn Finney of Broxton, GA and Stephanie West (Chad) of Crossville, TN; his grandchildren, Alexandra Finney, Adyson West and Lucas West; and his siblings, James Downing of Idaho and Kathy Downing of Bridgeport, Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
