With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivey Lee Kight Sr. of Broxton, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. H. "Snooks" Kight and Christine Daniels Kight; and his wife Linda Ellis Kight. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Kight (Walda) of Douglas, GA and Lee Kight of Broxton, GA; his stepdaughter Cindy Mathews (Edward) of Pearson, GA; his sister Kathy Kight Smith (Greg) of Savannah, GA; and his grandchildren, Brandon Kight, Jordon Mathews, Lauren Kight, Ruby Grace Kight and Gavin Kight.
Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. highly encourages all guests and attendees to wear face masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Reedy Branch Baptist Church in his honor.
