It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hester of Broxton, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O. V. Hester and Maude Stone Hester; and his brothers, Jack Hester and Hollis Hester. He is survived by: his wife Lawanda Brown Hester of Broxton, GA; his sons, Aaron Hester (Katlyn) of Broxton, GA and Christopher Youngblood (Stephanie) of Broxton, GA; his sister Betty Brannon; his grandchildren, Ellie Youngblood of Broxton, GA and Ean Youngblood; and his children, Allison Spivey (Shannon) of Douglas, GA, Tanna Owsley (Josh) of Douglas, GA, Josh Meeks of Douglas, GA and Joseph Meeks of Douglas, GA.. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
