He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Jean Adams Deen; and his parents, Carl Houston Deen and Evelyn Smith Kight. He is survived by: his children, Serena Parker (Keith) of Moultrie, GA and Kurt Deen of Douglas, GA; his siblings, Craig Deen of Broxton, GA and Molly Hinson of Hazelhurst, GA; his half-brothers, Brian Deen of West Green, GA and Bruce Deen of West Green, GA; and his stepsiblings, Ricky Solomon of West Green, GA and Susan Solomon Kight. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
