She was predeceased by: her father Gordon Horton; her spouse Carroll Whiddon; her daughter Kay Kelly; and her siblings, Lena Gainous, Claudia Woolfolk, Margaret Sellars, Ed Horton and James Horton.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Brown (Billy) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Betty Highsmith (Marvin) of Boston, Gary Whiddon of Cairo and Larry Whiddon of Thomasville; her son-in-law C. J. Kelley of Thomasville; and her sisters, Joann Baggett of Cairo and Virginia Shealey of Thomasville. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
