It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Loftis of Blue Ridge, Georgia, born in Copperhill, Tennessee, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Loftis Sr. and Alinda Loftis; his uncle James Burnett; and his stepfather T. W. Burke. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Fortner Loftis; his children, Dillon Loftis, Aeriel Loftis (Rayne) and James Fortner; his siblings, Donna McClure, Arnold David Loftis Jr. and William Robert Loftis; his grandchildren, Anson Fortner and Emberlin Fortner; his brothers-in-law, Greg McClure and Jamie Montgomery; his uncle Anthony Morgan; and his close friend Kelly Ray. He is also survived by two nieces & two nephews; two great nieces & two great nephews; one great-great niece; and a host of other relatives and friends.
