She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Melton and Nola Melton; her husband Leamen Davenport; her children, Doris Davenport, Glen Davenport and James Davenport; her siblings, Arthur Melton, Troy Melton, Otis Melton, Edna Sisum, Eva Burnette and Estie Lee Simonds; and her children-in-law, Debra Davenport, Robert Long and Gary Davenport.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Long, Aline Davenport, Clinton Davenport (Sandra) and Kennon Davenport (Angie); her daughter-in-law Betty Watkins Davenport; and her friend Deborah Gerard. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren.
