It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Lou Cordell Boggs (Blue Ridge, Georgia), born in McCaysville, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amy Bell Cordell and Horace Cordell; and her siblings, Howard Cordell, Opal Hogan and Johnnie Sparks.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Boggs; her daughter LouAnne Osborne; her children-in-law, Sharon Oliver Boggs, Jim Lawhorn and Ronnie Moss; her children, John Gurley Boggs, Cynthia Moss, Dr. Mary Lane (David Redfearn), Martha Boggs (David Patterson) and Patti Welch (Jeff); her son-in-law Clark Osborne; her grandchildren, Andrew Boggs, Nick Welch, DerrickWelch (Candace), Amy Lawhorn and Sondra Arnold; her great grandchild Reed Welch; and her nieces and nephews, Melody Johnson of Ranger, NC, Pat Hogan of Atlanta, Georgia, Gail Sides, Brenda Nations and Rodney Sparks of Baton Rouge, Louisiana..
