George Washington Jones Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Washington Jones of Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on August 8, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Byron "Casey" and Frances Montaree Owen Jones; his siblings, Tom Jones (Virginia) and Sid Jones; and his brother-in-law Larry Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Dian Schollenberger Jones; his son Chris Wild (Debra) of Madison, AL; his stepson Jeffrey Wild (Trish) of Tampa, FL.; and his siblings, Frances Coleman of Blakely and Guy Jones of Blakely. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.
