She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Johnson and Nettie Johnson; her husband Joseph Wesley Gilliard; her daughter Karen Myers; and her siblings, Shirley, Edna, Imogene and Marcus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Gilliard of Metter and Angela Phillips (David) of Blackshear; and her grandchildren, Talisa Bush (Keith), Misty Douglas (Steven), Amanda Myers (Lynnwood), Dusty Thomas, Matthew Brock, Toni Selph, Steven Myers, Amber Pierce (Rusty), Philip Myers, Shelbi Hand and Austin Phillips. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
