She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Samantha Charleston (Anthony) and Ambrizette Strickland; her grandchildren, Jamar Charleston (Terrae) of Boundbrook, NJ, Javon Charleston of Columbia, SC, Akeyla Charleston, Waterhouse, Amiyah, Logan Charleston of Boundbrook, NJ and Blu Charleston of Atlanta, GA; her brothers, Alfonzo Bland of Jacksonville, FL, Percy Bland (Megan) of Atlanta, GA and Thomas Bland of Charlotte, NC; her sister-in-law Charlene Bland of Trenton, NJ; and her aunts and uncles, Viola Anderson of Charlotte, NC, Lucy Heath of Hazel Park, MI, Alma Bland of Hephzibah, GA, Charles T. Cofer and Roosevelt Bland. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, god children, classmates.
In lieu of flowers, a college scholarship fund has been set up for the youngest grand-daughter Ali's; In loving memory of her Nana, Fannie B. Strickland.
