He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Acord and Ora Acord; his children, Michael Acord and Ashley Cooper; and his siblings, Marie Barker and Denver Dale Acord.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Danforth Acord; his children, Brian K. Acord (Rebecca) and Traci Grant (Carl); his grandchildren, Shannon Michelle Hayes (James), Whitney Acord Marshall (Jordan) and Bricelee Gardner; his great grandchildren, Michael Banks Lee, Alayna Claire Lee, McLaren Mattie Marshall, Aubrey Michelle Hayes, Brantley Dwyer and Ember Grace Hayes; and his siblings, Sue Wright (Dale), Charles "Bucky" Acord (Becky) and Carl "Buddy" Acord (Lela).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
