She was predeceased by: her parents, John William "Bill" Sandford and Margorie Williams Sandford; and her brothers, Dan and George Sandford. She is survived by: her husband Glenn C. W. Ames; her son A. Michael Ames; her daughter-in-law Amy; her grandsons, Ethan and Cole of Pittsboro, NC; her son Thomas C. Ames; her daughter-in-law Erinn; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Matthew and Addison of Evans, GA; her daughter Allison Jennifer Ames Boykin of Nashville, TN; her sister Diane Sandford; her brother-in-law Mike Stueben of Falls Church, VA; her brother John "Jake"; her sister-in-law Francis Sandford of Chicago; her niece Eleanor Sandford Laramie; her sister-in-law Marcia Sandford (Bill Hester); her nephew Andy Sandford; her sister-in-law Lori Sandford of Woodstock, GA; and her nephews, John and Bill Sandford.
