He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Oliver "Bob" Cason and Katie King Cason Potts; his wife Billie Sue Davenport Cason; his son Macheal Lamar Cason; his grandson Joseph Adam Cason; and his brothers, James Edward Cason and Bobby Junior Cason.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Clay (Larry), Brenda Cason, Illene Cason, Travis Cason (Kathy), Silver Creek and Wesley Cason (Pam); and his sister Bessie Mae Smith. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
