He is survived by: his mother Dorsie Nell "Tootsie" Colquitt Hogwood; his children, Anthony Grindle and Amber Lynn Grindle; his stepdaughter Patricia Laschower; his stepgranddaughter Madeline Cloud; and his sisters, Judy Otting, Kathy Otting and Deborah Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
