She is survived by: her daughter Sara; her son-in-law Leroy Hiers; her sons, Joseph Owens and Michael Owens; and her siblings, Doris Howell, Ann Jo Perkins and Brook Dean. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
