He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar Austin and Barbara Lee Johnson Austin. He is survived by: his daughter Chelsea Jones of Aragon; his son-in-law Jeremy Jones of Aragon; his brothers, James Bartow "Cooley" Austin of Rockmart, William Edward "Billy" Austin of Rockmart and Robert Keith "Bobby" Austin of Rockmart; and his granddaughters, Andilynn and Scarlett.
