She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Thomas Rutherford; her son David Robert Goodoien; her parents, Lester Joseph Schlink and Ada Lauretta Schlink; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Goodoien.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Marie Stager (Malcolm), Douglas Jerald Goodoien and Daniel Joseph Goodoien (Val); her brother Terrance J. Schlink (Marie); her grandsons, Joshua Sorg, Michael Sorg, Douglas Adam Goodoien, Cory Goodoien, Samuel Goodoien, Luke Goodoien, Noah Goodoien, Jarrad Goodoien and Jacob Goodoien; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Miller and Elliot Goodoien. She is also survived by Three step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
