With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Houston of Aragon, Georgia, who passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Thompson and Anna Rittenhouse Thompson; her husband William S. Houston; and her son James W. Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Jill Henderson Essigmann (Butch), Kristina Houston and Mark Houston (Leslie). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
