He was predeceased by: his father Roger D. Simmons. He is survived by: his mother Peggy "Ronnie" Varnadore; his daughter Keely "Tray" Thornton of Baxley; his grandson Kane Thornton of Baxley; his siblings, Melanie Hubbard of Springfield, GA and Wallace Floyd of Apalachicola, FL; and his nephew Nolan "Hannah" Hubbard of Hardeeville, SC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
