He was predeceased by: his parents, I. J., Jr. Davis and Bessie Riddle Davis; and his brother Larry E. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Harper Davis of Baxley; his daughter Dr. Michele (Jason McGibony) of Statesboro; his granddaughters, Skylar and Sinclair McGibony of Statesboro; and his brothers, W. C. "Billy" (Pat Davis) of Ethelsville, AL, Glen (Marie Davis) of Baxley and Charles (Pam Davis) of Baxley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Miles Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1744 Miles Chapel Church Rd. Baxley, GA 31513.
