Mixon of Appling, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ansel Franklin; and her husband Johnny J. Mixon, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Judy L. Beltz (late James), Johnny J. Mixon, Jr. (Carol), Suzanne T. Lilly (Frank), Horace A. Mixon (Marcia) and Joseph L. Mixon (Lynn). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
