He was predeceased by: his parents, John Broadus Norton Sr. and Mary Helen Norton Spence; and his sisters, Elise Martin and Martha Cochran. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Owen Norton of Americus; his daughter Heather Norton Hale; his son-in-law Michael of Americus; his grandchildren, Chris Norton of Warner Robins, Cayden and Taylor Hale of Americus; and his siblings, Mary Davis (Eugene) of Americus, David Norton (Joyce) of Americus, Jimmy Norton (Carol) of Americus, Diane McClung (Johnnie) of Americus and JB Norton of Americus.
