He is survived by: his parent Anita Cothern Davis; his wife Joy Kent Davis of Ambrose, GA; his son John Edwin Davis (Laura) of Waycross, GA; his grandchildren, Matthew Lawton Davis of Waycross, GA and Mary Rylie Davis of Waycross, GA; and his brothers, Terrell Davis of Douglas, GA and Michael Davis of Douglas, GA..
