He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton and Emma Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Guthrie; his children, Melinda Spivey, Chad Guthrie (Tonia), Natalie Ford (Jeff) and Doug Pope; and his grandchildren, Connor Spivey, Jorjanne Flake, Jadyn Guthrie, Brant Spivey, Jarod Gaff and Amber Gaff.
