It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Jean Allan (Alma, Georgia), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stella Jean Allan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mattox (W. D.) and Ora Lee Williford Mattox; and her siblings, J. Walter Mattox, Joey Mattox, Hazel Lee, Ruth Gaskins and Faye Peacock.
She is survived by: her husband Quitman Allen; her children, Johnny Allen (Wanda), Leon Allen (Judy), Gary Allen (Kay) and Connie Lane (Dale Overstreet); and her sister Judy Williams (Richie) of Baxley. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southside Church of God (102 Taylor Rd, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
