With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Riley H Dixon of Alma, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Riley departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Riley. Though Riley may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dixon and Othella Boatright Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hutcheson Dixon (Becky); his children, Michael Dixon (Candace Conner) and Lisa (Pete Rewis); his grandchildren, Coby Rewis (Cherry), Caleb Rewis, Lawson Dixon, Laina Dixon and Joah Dixon; and his sisters, Jackie Cunningham (Freddie) and Dorothy Gunn (Ernie) of Conyers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosby Funeral Home (207 W 12th St, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southside Church of God (102 Taylor Rd, Alma, GA 31510).
