He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Mims, Sr. and Laura Moore Mims; his son Scott Mims; his grandson Ryan Mims; and his siblings, LaRue Rigdon (Jody), Harvey Mims, Jr., Cecil Mims, Gregg Rigdon and Donnie Rigdon.
He is survived by: his wife Robyn Hutcheson Mims; his granddaughter Kaitlen Mixon; his stepchildren, Levi King (Kristin) and Jessica King Deal (Ryan); and his niece Belinda Walker. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Crosby Funeral Home (207 W 12th St, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southside Church of God (102 Taylor Rd, Alma, GA 31510).
