It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin James Harrelson Jr. of Alma, Georgia, born in Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lucy Rodriquez Harrelson; and his parents, Benjamin James Harrelson, Sr. and Ruby Gordon Griffis Purvis. He is survived by: his children, Andy Harrelson (Angela) of Aiken, SC., Randy Harrelson of Alma, Sandy Walsh (Emmett) of Bay St and Angie Dyal Sears (Bobby Hue) of Alma; and his sister Brenda Gray. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
