He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lester and Onnie Roach Folsom; his parents-in-law, Hugh and Pauline Asbell Griffis; and his siblings, Clifford Folsom, W. F. Folsom (Verna), Wilburn Folsom (Nettie), Billy Folsom, Earl Folsom (Sally), Settle Folsom (Wanda), Donald Folsom and Ruby Lee Folsom Guthrie.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Griffis Folsom; his children, Lisa Folsom of Adel, Greg (Angela Folsom) of Adel, Stacy Folsom (Chuck) of Adel and Tracy Gray (Folsom) of Moultrie Georgia; his grandchildren, Zach, Marla Folsom (Ross), Zane Folsom, Cassey Cornelius, Drew Folsom of Adel, Amy Gray and Charlie Gray of Moultrie; his brother Render; and his sisters-in-law, Fredda Folsom, Lois Folsom, Frances Folsom, Jan Folsom Powell and Judy Griffis Miley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
